Another Successful Year at the Be a Saint
Golf Tournament!

We are thrilled to announce the success of our fourth ‘Be a Saint’ Golf Tournament held on Thursday, June 13th at The Quarry Golf Club. We are so appreciative of the many who were able to come out for a day of fun in support of St. Joseph’s at Fleming. Thanks to the support of our golfers, prize donors, and volunteers, we raised over $32,000! All proceeds will go towards our ‘Be a Saint’ Campaign. Through this campaign we will be able to help make the capital improvements that our 20-year-old long-term care home needs to provide the best possible care for our residents.

We of course are also appreciative of our many sponsors, who helped make our event a success:

• The Protectors Group Benefits • Achieva Health • Barnes Mechanical • Commercial Press & Design • Plan A Peterborough • The Congregation of Sisters of St. Joseph • The Scott Family •
• Connor Windows, Doors, and Sunrooms • Pyle Wealth Advisory • Red X Technologies Inc. • Jesse’s Tap & Grill • Advanced Care Group • BMS Sanitation •
• Medical Centre Hearing Services • MCC Fires • Fleming College • Jack McGee Chevrolet • The Peterborough Petes •

Thank you to all who supported our ‘Be a Saint’ Golf Tournament and helping make this year’s tournament the biggest one yet! Mark your calendars- we are already booked to play at The Quarry again next year on Thursday, June 12th, 2025.

We are looking fore-ward to seeing everyone again next year!

Our First Ever Fundraiser Garage Sale!

We are thrilled to announce the success of our first ever Bargains & BBQ yard sale fundraiser held on Saturday, August 26th at SJF. Thanks to the support of our residents, families, staff, and community members, we raised over $2,000! All proceeds will go towards our Be a Saint Campaign.

A huge thank you to those who donated items to be sold at the yard sale, as well as those who donated their time to help set up and execute the very busy day! We are truly appreciative of the support we received for this event.

And we of course could not have had the success we did without the support of our food donors:
• Magnum Food Brokers Inc. • Canada Bread • Sysco • Maple Leaf • Chub & Nikki’s No Frills •
